Gold producer Kingsgate Consolidated Limited
(ASX:KCN) has reported record gold production for the first three months of this year, a 14 per cent increase from the December quarter.
Kingsgate attributes the rise to strong production figures at its Chatree project in Thailand.
The gold producer forecasts a strong June quarter with its full year guidance figures in the range of 205-225,000 ounces.
In the first half of the 2012 financial year, Kingsgate generated a net profit of $33.9 million.
