Ten Network H1 profit sinks 70%

Company News

Ten Network Holdings Limited (ASX:TEN) first half net profit has dropped 70 per cent to $14.8 million.

Channel Ten has attributed the decline to the difficult state of advertising markets.

The network expects an improvement in advertising markets over the next few months and says further investment in programming is required.

The Ten Network has blamed difficult market conditions for not paying an interim dividend.
