Ansell Limited
(ASX:ANN) has agreed to purchase a Swedish protective product business for about $30 million and expects to finalise the transaction in the current quarter.
The Swedish company Trelleborg Protective Products has annual sales of around $24 million.
The acquisition is expected to be earnings accretive from the next financial year.
In the first half of the 2012 financial year, Ansell reported a net profit of $66.6 million
