Monadelphous Group Limited (ASX:MND) has won $220 million worth of new construction and maintenance contracts in Western Australia and Queensland.
The engineering group says the contracts are with major customers in the oil and gas, iron ore and coal sectors.
The work includes a variation to an existing contract with Rio Tinto Limited (ASX:RIO) for the supply and installation of the new iron ore car dumper at its Cape Lambert Port B Project.
The Monadelphous Muhhibbah Marine Joint Venture has secured a construction and commissioning contract for a shiploader at the Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal.
Monadelphous has also been awarded a maintenance services contract for Woodside Petroleum Limited's (ASX:WPL) Pluto LNG project and a 12-month extension to general maintenance services with Chevron.
Monadelphous Group boosted its first half net profit by 26 per cent to a record $57.5 million.
