Clough secures $510M Ichthys contracts

Engineering and construction company Clough Limited (ASX:CLO) says its BAM Clough joint venture has secured $510 million worth of contracts to work on the Ichthys project.
 
The $US34 billion Ichthys project is one of the largest resource projects in Australia that will pump gas from offshore Western Australia to Darwin for processing.

The BAM Clough joint venture has executed two binding contracts to design and construct the Ichthys LNG Project Module Offloading Facility and the Ichthys Product Loading Jetty.

Shares in Clough gained 1.22 per cent on Friday, closing at $0.83.

Clough reported a net profit of $12 million in the first half of the 2012 financial year.
