Intrepid clarifies Indonesian regulation

Intrepid Mines Limited (ASX:IAU) was the best performer on the ASX yesterday, jumping 12.5 per cent.

That was after the copper-gold miner clarified several aspects of Indonesian regulation.

Intrepid reassured the market that divestment regulations for its project in East Java will not take effect until the sixth year following production.

Shares in Intrepid jumping 12.5 per cent yesterday closing at $0.90.

In the 2011 financial year, Intrepid mines reported a net loss of $29.5 million.
