Sydney Airport
(ASX:SYD) says October has been its busiest month for the year with more than 3.9 million passengers passing through.
International passenger traffic in October increased 6 per cent compared to the same time last year.
The company says the strong October result was driven by both seat capacity growth and stable load factors.
Sydney's fastest growing nationalities included Japanese, American and Indian visitors.
The airport was this month names Australia's best Capital City Airport for the second consecutive year.
