CIMIC’s CPB contractors wins projects under Western Sydney infra plan

CIMIC Group (ASX:CIM) company, CPB contractors has been selected by the Australian and NSW governments to deliver the next stage of the Northern Road upgrade project.

The project will upgrade existing road infrastructure between Luddenham and Glenmore Park.

The construct-only contract with Roads and maritime Services is part of the $1.6 billion Northern Road upgrade project and will generate around $170 million in revenue for CPB Contractors.

Combined with other contracts it brings the company's work in the area to $210 million.

CIMIC says it will develop a value-for-money construction program that will deliver high-quality roads assets that are resilient to future needs.

Shares in CIMIC Group (ASX:CIM) is down 1.11 per cent to $45.47.
