Media company, HT&E
(ASX:HT1) has today announced the appointment of Hamish McLennan as Chairman effective from today.
The appointment follows an extensive search process conducted by the board.
His previous roles include, Executive Chairman and CEO of Ten Network Holdings and Executive Vice President for News Corporation in Sydney and New York.
The company says McLennan is an outstanding choice for Chairman and the strongest possible endorsement of how much the company has achieved in completely transforming the business over the past 5 years.
Shares in HT& E
(ASX:HT1) closed 1.02 per cent lower to $1.94 yesterday.
