Primary Health Care to compensate employees

Primary Health Care (ASX:PRY) today informed staff in the Medical Centres division that it will compensate certain employees for incorrect payments under the modern awards since July 2011.

Total remediation costs of up to $18 million have been provided for.

The review has led to an average repayment of $400 per person – including superannuation and payroll tax.

The medical, pathology and radiology provider identified incorrect wage payments and brought in independent consultants to work out the damage.
