Vocus annual report for shareholders released

Telecommunications company Vocus (ASX:VOC) have released their annual report to shareholders.

It shows for the financial year, the business delivered results in line with guidance given in February 2018, with revenue growth of 2 per cent to $1.9 billion and underlying EBITDA growth of 7 per cent to $366 million.

The result was driven by, among other things, expansion of sales presence on the East Coast.

The New Zealand business continued to perform well, with a 4 per cent increase in revenue translating to 8 per cent growth in underlying EBTIDA.

The Australian Consumer telecommunications market is extremely competitive and undergoing significant disruption as it transitions to the National Broadband Network (NBN).

Shares in Vocus (ASX:VOC) are up 2.17 per cent to $3.29.
