Contact Energy
(ASX:CEN) has today announced that David Smol has been appointed a director from the 1st of October 2018.
He brings 35 years of work experience in the energy sector in UK and New Zealand for companies such as Conoco UK and ILEX Energy.
He was also part of the team that developed the rules for the New Zealand electricity market in the 1990's.
Contact Energy is an electricity generator and owns and operates 12 power stations in New Zealand making it the second largest electricity generator in New Zealand

(ASX:CEN) closed 0.77 per cent higher to $5.27 yesterday.
