Kathmandu posts record sales and profit results

Kathmandu (ASX:KMD) is awarding $1000 one-off bonuses to all permanent team members after the company posted a 33 per cent increase in it's net profit for the 2018 financial year.

The outdoor retailer's sales lifted almost 12 per cent on last year to NZ$497 million.

Earnings (EBIT) increased by 31 per cent to NZ$75 million.

The company has declared a final dividend of 11 cents per share to be paid on the 19th of November.

Kathmandu says sales growth was supported by the success of key product groups with customers reacting positively to innovative products.

And investors like the results shares in Kathmandu (ASX:KMD) almost 8 per cent higher to $3.08
