Cimic group notches up another contract win

Cimic Group (ASX:CIM) has notched up another contract win with its companies Pacific Partnerships and CPB Contractors to deliver a Corrections and Treatment Facility in New Zealand.

The project will generate around NZ$750 million worth of revenue for Cimic Group, with construction having commenced through an early works agreement.

The new facility due to open in 2022 and will deliver accommodation for 500 prisoners.

Yesterday Cimic Group Company, Thiess was awarded a $420 million contract extension by Antofagasta Minerals to continue operations at its open pit mine in Chile.

Shares in Cimic Group (ASX:CIM) closed 0.65 per cent lower to $50.59 yesterday
