Qantas Airways Limited (ASX:QAN) pilots have reportedly vowed not to strike this year if they are successful in appealing a Fair Work Australia decision.
According to Fairfax Media, the Australian and International Pilots Association will today argue against Fair Work’s banning of industrial action.
Both Qantas and the government have told Fairfax they will oppose the union’s appeal.
In the six months to the December 31, 2011 Qantas posted a net profit of $42 million.
