Alumina Limited (ASX:AWC) has posted a large increase in yearly profit thanks to higher alumina and aluminium prices and production, but warns its outlook for the year is volatile.
For the year to December Alumina posted a profit 266 per cent higher than the previous corresponding period.
The group will pay a final dividend of 3 US cents per share, fully franked. That takes the total dividend to six US cents.
Alumina reported a net profit of $125 million for the year to December, 2011.
