Decmil to build new village

Decmil Group Limited (ASX:DCG) has been awarded a $90 million contract by BHP Billiton Limited (ASX:BHP) to build a village south east of Moranbah in Queensland.
 
Work is scheduled to start in two months time and includes the construction and installation of infrastructure and accommodation for the Caval Ridge mine project.
 
Decmil’s chief executive Scott Criddle says after this contract the group’s current work in hand is $500 million.
 
Decmil Group generated a net profit of $23.5 million in the 2011 financial year.
