Brambles Limited (ASX:BXB) is eyeing Asia for growth and predicts revenues from the region could exceed $1 billion over seven years.
CEO Tom Gorman has told The Australian the opportunity in China is "enormous".
Mr Gorman also says the company is making sure the strategic foundation is set in the right way and has created a new Asian Advisory Board to direct its business in the region.
The paper reports Brambles sales from emerging markets are the fastest-growing part of the company's operations, growing 20 per cent per year.
Shares in Brambles finished 2.58 per cent higher yesterday at $7.15.
In the 2011 financial year Brambles booked a net profit of $443 million.
