Telstra revises NBN plan

Company News

Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS) has lodged key documents with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) outlining plans to separate its retail and wholesale arms during the construction of the national broadband network.

This morning the telco submitted a revised structural separation undertaking.

The ACCC says it still has concerns regarding wholesale ADSL. If its concerns around ADSL can be satisfied it’s likely to accept the undertaking.

The competition regulator will make a final decision in February.

Telstra posted a net profit of $3.25 billion in the 2011 financial year.
