Medical Australia secures new supply deals

Medical Australia Limited (ASX:MLA) has secured new supply deals that are expected to add $1.5 million in annualised revenue in fiscal 2012 and beyond. 

The Australia-based medical device manufacturer says all the deals are new supply agreements and range between one and three years in length.
 
Among the deals, Medical Australia will supply goods to Australia’s largest private hospital operator, Healthscope.

The company also advises it has recently shipped a $120,000 order to UNICEF for specially designed needle cutters.  

In the 12 months to June 30, 2011 Medical Australia reported a net loss of $342,000.
