G8 Education buys six QLD centres

G8 Education Limited (ASX:GEM) has bought six childcare centres in Queensland for $8.2 million, boosting the number of centres it owns to 138.
 
The child care operator says the purchase will be funded from current debt facilities and will contribute to the G8 Group for the whole of 2012.

The six centres are expected to annually deliver earnings before interest and tax of more than $2 million.

G8 Education has also confirmed that it expects to deliver a net profit of $12.79 million in the full 2011 calendar year.

In the six months to June 30, 2011 G8 Education posted a net profit of $3.8 million.
