Qantas Airways Limited (ASX:QAN) has agreed to refund customers who were impacted by the airline grounding its entire domestic and international fleet over the weekend.

In response to an investigation from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Qantas says it will compensate passengers for all reasonable losses incurred as a direct result of the grounding.

Qantas CEO Alan Joyce is due to tomorrow front Federal politicians at a Senate inquiry in Canberra regarding the airline’s decision to ground its fleet.

In the 2011 financial year Qantas reported a net profit of $249 million.
