Domino’s Pizza responds to FWO investigation

Company News

Domino's Pizza Enterprises (ASX:DMP) is addressing issues regarding almost $2000 of underpayment of wages for 20 team members across 19 stores.

The Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) recently reported on this in an 18-month investigation.

Specifically, one franchisee with two stores was responsible for over $1,500 of the underpayment.

Domino’s say their compliance systems are already well advanced.

They say their goal is to ensure team members receive their correct entitlements at all times and, where this has not been the case as revealed by FWO’s investigation, they will ensure any wages underpayments are rectified as quickly as possible.

Shares in Domino's Pizza Enterprises (ASX:DMP) closed 2.1 per cent lower to $52.33 yesterday.
