Organic baby food company, Bubs Australia
(ASX:BUB) has announced CEO, Nicholas Simms is stepping down, but will remain with the company until October 2018 when his contract ends.
Bubs Founder and Managing Director, Kristy Carr will take over the top job.
The company says the board and Mr Simms were of the view that the time was right to transition the leadership to Mrs Carr.
The move comes after a successful repositioning of the business from a private entity to a top 500 listed company.
Chairman, Dennis Lin says the appointment signals the business has entered into its next phase of development, having achieved the establishment of its growth platforms ahead of schedule.
Shares in Bubs Australia
(ASX:BUB) closed 6.29 per cent lower to 67 cents yesterday.
