Boral posts 49% jump in full-year profit

Boral (ASX:BLD) has reported its net profit (NPAT) increased 49 per cent on the same time last year to $441 million for this financial year.

The construction suppliers company’s sales revenue lifted 34 per cent on the prior year to $5.9 billion.

Its earnings (EBITDA) increased 47 per cent on a year basis, to $1.06 billion.

A final dividend of 14 cents per share will be paid on the 2nd of October.

Boral says the result reflects significant growth from Boral North America with a full year contribution from the acquired Headwaters businesses, together with higher earnings from Boral Australia and a solid result from the USG Boral joint venture.
