High-rollers boost The Star’s revenue

The Star Entertainment Group (ASX:SGR) has reported its normalized net profit after tax (NPAT) rose 20.3 per cent on last year to $258 million.

In more good news for company, its revenue strengthened over the 2017 financial year, and lifted 15.3 per cent to $2.76 billion.

Its EBITDA increased 14.2 per cent on the prior year, to $588 million.

Foreign highrollers and VIPS returned to Australian casinos keeping their figures high.

A 13 cps fully franked final dividend is offered - up 53 per cent on prior corresponding period.

Shares in the Star Entertainment Group (ASX:SGR) are trading 5.8 per cent higher at $5.29.
