St Barbara Limited (ASX:SBM) said it had a record level of gold production for the September quarter, with thanks to grade increases at its Gwalia operation.
Total gold production for the quarter was 70,608 ounces and the company’s forecasted production figures to progressively increase while cash operation costs also drop.
St Barbara said 72,254 ounces of gold were shipped in the quarter, realising an average gold price of $1,571 per ounce.
St Barbara Limited (ASX:SBM) reported a net profit of $68.6 million for the six months to June.
