Lend Lease Group (ASX:LLC) has sealed the deal on three major projects, reinforcing its position in the construction sector.
The deal for a $495 million joint venture to build an 800 bed prison in Darwin was closed on Friday, news that adds to its announcement it will build the $450 million Adelaide Oval redevelopment, as well as securing a $174 million contract with NBN Co.
Lend Lease has also secured a $317 million contract for the Cairns Base Hospital.
Lend Lease posted a net profit of $493.2 million in the 2011 financial year.
