The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) has appointed Grahame Petersen as group executive business and private banking.
It’s in anticipation of Ian Narev taking the reins from current chief Ralph Norris at the start of October.
Mr Petersen has more than thirty years banking experience, having come from the CBA’s wealth management team. Annabel Spring has been internally promoted to replace him.
The Commonwealth Bank reported a net profit of $6.4 billion for the financial year to June 30.
