Recently listed Bega Cheese Limited (ASX:BGA) has secured a deal to supply Wesfarmers Limited (ASX:WES) owned Coles with its entire range of Coles branded cheese products.
Under the five year contract Bega will manufacture and package natural and processed cheddar as well as mozzarella cheese products.
The company is expected to start its direct supply of cheese products to Coles in the third quarter of 2012.
While the value of the deal has not as yet been disclosed Bega says it expects a formal contract will be finalised in around two months, after which it will be able to disclose the financial impact.
