Lend Lease Group (ASX:LLC) has been awarded a contract by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads for the Mains Road Kessels Road Intersection Upgrade in Brisbane.
The company says the project will address a significant bottleneck in the Brisbane urban corridor. The project is expected to be finished mid 2014.
The design and construction contract will be delivered by Baulderstone, for about $115 million. Baulderstone is part of Lend Lease’s Australian infrastructure business.
Lend Lease Group (ASX:LLC) reported an annual net profit of $493.2 million.
