Count Financial Limited
(ASX:COU) has reported a record net profit after tax for the year to June 30 of $51.56 million, a 113 per cent increase on the previous corresponding period.
The company says the listing of Countplus resulted in a one-off pre-tax fair value gain of $37.15 million.
Count says it is experiencing growth in the wealth protection and insurance segment, and has refocussed upon its mortgage aggregation business.
A fully franked dividend of four cents per share has been declared.
