Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS) will be rolling out its fourth generation wireless mobile internet technology to businesses in east coast capital cities this month.
The new technology can deliver speeds comparable with the NBN in some areas, which has sparked debate about the viability of the federal government’s national broadband network.
Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne will be offered the technology from August 29, and it will be offered to the rest of Australia later in the year.
Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS) reported a profit of $1.2 billion in the second half of last year.
