BHP Billiton Limited

Iron ore output from Western Australia hit its eleventh straight record, with shipments rising to an annualised 155 million tonnes per annum in the June quarter.
In the three months to the end of June iron ore production rose 7 per cent and petroleum production rose 21 per cent, compared to the prior quarter.
Metallurgical coal production increased 19 per cent to 7.9 million tonnes, coming in above expectations in a period where extreme weather in Queensland impacted operations.
The miner has warned that weather will continue to impact coal sales and unit costs for the remainder of the year.
In the first half of its 2011 financial year, BHP Billiton reported a net profit of $10.5 billion.
