New deal for Oil Search and PNG LNG

Oil Search (ASX:OSH) who have a 29 per cent interest in PNG LNG project have seen them enter into a mid-term liquefied natural gas sale and purchase agreement with BP Singapore.

The sale will provide BP with the supply of approximately 0.45 million tonnes of LNG per annum over an initial three-year period.

This will rise to approximately 0.9 million tonnes of LNG per annum over the subsequent two-year period.

This comes after Oil search’s recent deal with PetroChina.

Shares in Oil Search (ASX:OSH) are trading 0.22 per cent higher to $9.07.
