Oil Search’s Agogo production facility resumes operations

Oil and gas company, Oil Search (ASX:OSH) has advised that its Agogo production Facility in PNG has resumed operations.

The facility was closed to complete repair work following the Highlands earthquake in February.

With the restart of the plant, all Oil Search operated-facilities are now online.

Oil production commenced at an initial rate of around 2000 barrels per day and a progressive ramp up production is expected through to early 2019.

The miner’s production guidance remains unchanged towards the upper end of 23 to 26 million barrels of oil.

Shares in Oil Search (ASX:OSH) are trading is trading 0.17 per cent lower to $8.96
