New Energy Solar power plants perform in line with expectations

New Energy Solar (ASX:NEW) has announced its seven operational solar power plants performed in line with management’s expectations for the June quarter, generating over 192 000 megawatt hours of electricity.

The company’s market cap as at June 30 was $481.6 million.

During the quarter the company says it acquired its first Australian asset and achieved pleasing construction progress on its US plants.

Plants in North Carolina and Oregon progressed well with four plants achieving mechanical completion and one reaching commercial operations.

Shares in New Energy Solar (ASX:NEW) are trading down 0.69 per cent to $1.44
