A leading cannabis company, Aphria, has sent its largest ever cannabis oil export shipment to Medlab Australia
(ASX:MDC).
The shipment is part of Medlab’s medical cannabis human trials, to reduce advanced cancer pain.
The Canadian company produces and supplies the high-yield cannabis extracts for Medlab, to test the management of intractable pain oncology patients.
Intractable pain is severe, constant pain not curable, and it’s the first kind of trial to be conducted in the world, according to both companies. Patient recruitment is currently underway.
Shares in Medlab
(ASX:MDC) are trading 4.17 per cent higher at $0.50.
