Westpac
(ASX:WBC) has today announced the appointment of Anita Fung to the board.
She will join the board on the 1st of October following completion of all regulatory requirements.
MS Fung is a former chairman of HSBC Global Asset Management and a former Non-Executive Director of HSBC and Hang Seng Bank.
Westpac Chairman, Lindsay Maxsted says Ms Fung has extensive experience in wholesale and retail banking.
She will be an independent Non-Executive Director and will become a Member of the Board Risk and Compliance Committee.
Shares in Westpac
(ASX:WBC) are trading 0.1 per cent lower at $29.61.
