In light of the Queensland floods Tabcorp Holdings Ltd (ASX:TAH) says its March quarter trading has been pleasing, with all three business divisions achieving positive revenue growth.
In the three months to 31 March 2011, the gaming company says revenue rose 5.4 per cent to $1.06 billion.
For the nine months to 31 March revenue lifted 3.9 per cent to $4.32 billion.
CEO Elmer Funke Kupper says revenue growth in the third quarter improved over the first half of the financial year, which indicates that the businesses are resilient and have good underlying momentum.
Tabcorb has advised that its planned demerger of its casino business from its wagering, gaming and Keno businesses is progressing to plan and will be put to a shareholder vote in June, 2011.
In the first six months of the 2011 financial year Tabcorp Holdings posted a net profit of $265.5 million.
