Hazelwood Resources (ASX:HAZ), MD, Terry Butler-Blaxell explains the upgrade increases its tungsten resources by 67% adding potentially several decades of supply.
Located 350km NNE of Perth and 300km ESE of the regional port of Geraldton in the mid-west region of Western Australia the project has access to roads. The project comprises a total area of approximately 70 km2, and consists of three granted Mining Leases, two granted Exploration Licences and four granted Prospecting Licences. Hazelwood owns a 70% interest in the tungsten and molybdenum mineralisation for the Mt Mulgine Project.
The deposit is shallow with 95% of the resource within 100 metres of the surface with further confirmatory drilling to proposed to de- risk the resource.
