Company News

Caltex Australia Ltd (ASX:CTX) has posted an annual net operating profit of $302 million.

The figure which excludes the value of Caltex's stockpiles, is up 49 per cent from the year before. Contributing factors to the result include; higher regional refiner margins, record fuel sales and improved refinery reliability.

Caltex's bottom line net profit was $317 million, up one per cent. A final dividend of 30 cents per share was declared, up 20 per cent.

Australia’s only listed oil refiner says the outlook remains positive due to the exposure it has to the mining, agriculture and transport industries.
