Fluence announces contract for seawater desalination plant in the Bahamas

Fluence Corporation (ASX:FLC) has announced it’s secured a contract for the operation of the company’s first seawater desalination plant in the Bahamas.

The contract with real estate development company, Rav Bahamas is for the supply and installation of three smart packaged Fluence NIROBOX units at their Resorts World Property.

The NIROBOX units are already manufactured and will treat three million litres per day of sea water.

Fluence will provide water for drinking, irrigation and operations for the resort and the surrounding community of North Bimini.

The deal is Fluence’s first build, own, operate and transfer contract in the Bahamas and will further increase recurring revenues for the company.
