Poultry producer Inghams Group
(ASX:ING) today announced that it plans to consolidate four of its facilities to three where they produce a range of cooked and frozen products for customers.
The move is consistent with the Project Accelerate program.
It involves investment in capacity at three existing further processing plants in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales and production volumes absorbed from the Queensland plant in Cleveland over the next eight months.
Ingham’s is confident that redeployment options for the vast majority of Cleveland employees will be available in our other operations in Queensland.

(ASX:ING) closed up 0.26 per cent to $3.82.
