Cooper Energy suspends Sole gas operations due to weather

Cooper Energy (ASX:COE) has suspended operations of the Sole gas field in the Gippsland Basin for this weekend until the weather improves.

It’s expected poor weather will interrupt operations for 3-5 days.

The most significant resource, the Sole gas field, is currently being developed to provide a new source of gas supply for south-east Australia from 2019.

Cooper Energy Limited (ASX:COE) is an exploration and production company which generates revenue from gas supply to south-east Australia and low cost Cooper Basin oil production

Shares in Cooper Energy (ASX:COE) are down 1.3 per cent to 38c.
