Global Construction Services secures hospital contract

Construction services group Global Construction Services (ASX:GCS) has secured a $5.3m contract for the redevelopment of the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital taking its total project awards since entering the Victorian concrete and formwork market last year to over $26.5m.

The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services has awarded the complete concrete structure works to GCS’s wholly owned subsidiary, GCS Summit Contracting.

The project is expected to commence in November 2018 and be completed in approximately seven months.

Shares in Global Construction Services (ASX:GCS) are trading flat at 73 cents.
