IMF Bentham announces $11.6m investment

Global litigation funder IMF Bentham (ASX:IMF) announced a new investment of $11.6 million for a trade secrets misappropriation and breach of contract case in the US.

The litigation will be funded from its US investment vehicle Bentham IMF 1.

The investment brings total committed funding amounts for IMF 1 to US$136 million and marks its 42nd investment.

Back home the company proposed to fund a class action against Retail Food Group last month.

Shares in IMF Bentham (ASX:IMF) are trading up 2.52 per cent to $2.85
