Orinoco Gold (ASX:OGX) says the Brazillian truck drivers strike which halted production at its Cascavel mine has now ended.

The strike began on the 24th of May and left the state of Goias where the gold mine is located without a supply of diesel and oil.

The gold miner says normal operating activities are expected to recommence at the mine on the 9th of June.

The company has scheduled gold pour for next week.

Earlier this year Orinco completed a 12 million capital raising with funds raised used to ramp up production at the mine, and to begin a $3 million drilling programme.

Shares in Orinoco Gold (ASX:OGX) trading 1.27 per cent lower at 8 cents.
