Dominos Pizza profit to rise 15%

Company News

Domino's Pizza Enterprises Ltd (ASX:DMP) says it expects its half year net profit to rise by 15 per cent to around $10 million in the six months to 2 January 2011.

The forecast growth comes in at the upper end of Domino’s previous guidance, and above the $8.7 million recorded in the first half of the prior financial year.

The pizza maker says the improved forecast comes on the back of strong same store sales.

The company will release its first half results on 16 February.

Domino’s now expects to deliver fiscal 2011 full year net profit 15 per cent above fiscal 2010.

In the year to 4 July 2010, Domino’s generated a net profit of $17.8 million.
