Chairman of Argo Global to retire

The Chairman of Argo Global Listed Infrastructure (ASX:ALI) Ian Martin AM has today announced his retirement.

He’ll leave the company at the end of June this year after 14 years at the company.

Mr Martin led the Company through its initial public offering, which at the time was the largest listed investment company IPO in Australia.

He’ll be succeeded by Mr Russell Higgins AO.

Mr Higgins was appointed to Argo’s Board in 2011 and is also a Non-executive Director of Telstra (ASX:TLS).

Prior to that he had a highly acclaimed career with the Commonwealth of Australia Public Service.

Shares in Argo Global Listed Infrastructure (ASX:ALI) closed flat at $1.75 yesterday.
